Prepare yourself for an enriching day as we journey along the stunning Mediterranean coastline to Caesarea by the Sea. Here, you can wander through fascinating Roman ruins, including the impressive Theater and Aqueduct, while learning about the significant Crusader city that thrived here and marked the beginning of Paul’s final missionary journey. We will ascend Mt. Carmel, the site of Elijah's vital confrontation with the prophets of Baal, before visiting Megiddo, also known as Armageddon, which holds great biblical significance. In Nazareth, we’ll take a moment to reflect on the angel's announcement to Mary and Jesus' formative years. As we pass through Cana, we’ll remember the incredible miracle of turning water into wine. We’ll enjoy dinner and relax for the evening in Tiberias, recharging for another inspiring day ahead.
Today holds special moments, starting with a peaceful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, accompanied by a heartfelt devotional service. At Kibbutz Ginosar, we’ll see an ancient boat from Jesus' time, providing a glimpse into the past. As we travel along the Road to Damascus, we’ll take a moment to reflect on Paul’s transformative conversion. At Caesarea Philippi, we’ll explore the site where Peter affirmed Jesus as the Son of God, and then visit Tabgha, the location of the miraculous loaves and fish. Our journey continues to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus profoundly shared His teachings. We’ll conclude the day in Capernaum, the heart of Jesus' ministry, before returning to our Tiberias hotel for dinner and relaxation.
Our exploration kicks off at the captivating Roman ruins of Beit She’an, rich in 5,000 years of history. We’ll then journey to Zippori, close to Nazareth, famous for its breathtaking mosaics and critical historical importance during Jesus’ era. We’ll cap off our day with a Baptism Service at the serene Jordan River, providing a deeply spiritual experience. After a fulfilling day, we’ll enjoy dinner and a cozy overnight stay at our hotel.
As we delve deeper into history, we’ll explore the Jordan Valley and visit the majestic Masada, a fortress perched high on a mountaintop. Afterward, we’ll drive along the picturesque Dead Sea, taking a moment to relax at the tranquil springs of Ein Gedi, then visit Qumran, where the remarkable Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Our day will conclude with a scenic drive through the Judean Wilderness as we make our way to Jerusalem for dinner and a well-deserved overnight stay.
Today is a remarkable opportunity to explore the sacred city of Jerusalem! We’ll begin our day at the Mount of Olives, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Old City. Walking part of the Palm Sunday Road, we’ll make our way to the tranquil Garden of Gethsemane, where we’ll visit the Church of All Nations and experience the peace under the ancient olive trees. Our exploration continues at Mount Zion, where we’ll visit the Upper Room and the House of Caiaphas, where Jesus was held. We’ll finish our day with a moving visit to the Nativity Church in Bethlehem, honoring the grotto believed to be Jesus’s birthplace. After such a fulfilling day, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.
Today promises to be meaningful as we delve into the cherished sites of Jerusalem! We’ll start at the Western Wall before visiting the Temple Mount and the stunning Dome of the Rock Mosque. Next, we’ll explore the Pool of Bethesda, taking time to reflect on its significance before enjoying a joyful sing-along at the Church of St. Anne. Walking the Via Dolorosa, we’ll trace the footsteps of Jesus, culminating our journey at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. A stroll through the vibrant Arab market and the historic Jewish Quarter, including the extraordinary Roman Cardo, round out our day. We’ll return to our hotel for dinner and a restful night, cherishing the moments we've shared.
Our day begins with a poignant visit to Yad Vashem, the memorial honoring Holocaust victims. Next, we’ll head to the Israel Museum to see the extraordinary Dead Sea Scrolls, enjoying views of the Israeli Knesset and a model of First-Century Jerusalem. Concluding our time in the Holy Land, we’ll hold a Communion service at the Garden Tomb, followed by a memorable Farewell Dinner at our hotel to reflect on our incredible experiences together.
After an early breakfast, we’ll journey back to the airport, filled with a sense of gratitude and enriched perspectives. Together, we’ll return to the USA, carrying with us a deeper understanding of Jesus' life and the vibrant land we’ve explored.
